Low resolution
Low resolution management is integrated and synchronized with its high resolution.
The MAM system is one of the pillars for the management of large digital collections. Through the MAM system it is possible to classify, categorize, index and catalog your collection. The use of metadata allows better exposure of the collection for public access through the classification and categories used, as well as allow searches using dates and keywords used.
An example of a good practice in cataloging is to adopt more specific terms, such as instead of using the text “people watching football game” should be used “football fans”.
To assist in the correction of spellings, the system is integrated with a controlled dictionary, so that if there is some mispronunciation, mainly referring to names of people, it is possible to reindex the whole collection without having to correct each record. Just access the dictionary and correct the spelling. Through the use of the controlled dictionary it is possible to have a list with thousands of cameramen, reporters, photographers, etc.
The MAM system is capable of managing a low resolution representation of its video file in high resolution. Low resolution representation is synchronized with its original, and markups can be made for quick identification of video clips. The descriptions used in the markings are searchable, facilitating the quick retrieval of them.
Media Portal is a system designed to integrate with automatic metadata generation mechanisms, such as: speech-to-texto transcription, face recognition, intelligent image analysis, OCR (for texts), among others.
Media Portal is a versatile system and should meet your needs and even expand the use of your collection.
The MAM system is corporate, it allows rapid access to all collections, and the collections may be archived in different technologies and geographic locations.
Low resolution management is integrated and synchronized with its high resolution.
The metadata is customized and can be grouped, each group forms a metaview.
All operations performed through the system are logged and can be audited.
